@10AM Sunday

Hello EPT church family,

In light of the recent announcement this morning by Premier Doug Ford that Ontario is now in a state of emergency, and he has said that all churches are to be closed of over 50 people , we have now made the decision to close all our church activities including Sunday morning services, Sunday evening services, family night, prayer time, Noahs Ark, and the Community Table, for the current time he has recommended, at present until March 31. We will reassess after that time. As a result we will not be holding any worship gatherings until at least then. We will be Providing our weekly worship gathering via the Internet through Facebook lifestream at 10:00AM on Sundays. If anyone does not have Facebook I would suggest that you sign in or up to Facebook just to get our church group on it so you can watch live streaming. We have made the EPT Facebook group public so you can share the online service with family and friends who don’t have church right now or don’t attend any church. Also anyone can join our group by requesting and we will accept the request. By tuning in through your computer or smart phone you will be able to join us for worship, announcements, prayer, offering and a message from God’s word. This is an opportunity for us as a church to virtually gather together during a very uncertain season in our nation and world.
This is a time when our church can stand together, be the church, and shine brightly for Jesus. As we all practice social distancing we will be reaching out to you through various means. This is a great time for us to draw closer to God and strengthen our family relationships. This is a great time to reach out to neighbors, family members, and friends who are in need. We don’t want anyone to feel disconnected or alone! Please reach out to us if you need anything or just want to talk! Someone will be in the church office on and off but if we can’t be reached by phone at the church, please contact Pastor Anne at 226-688-5634.

During this time we ask you to be faithful and generous in you’re giving! The expense of running the church continues, and we will need to continue to fulfill our financial commitments and pay our bills. You can give online at through church E transfer, drop tithes/offering off at the church or mail your offering. The first two ways make it easier for us to continue to meet our financial obligations. Any questions regarding online giving can be addressed to us. You need to set up mobile banking through your phone or computer and your bank and help you with that. Once you have mobile banking or banking set up on your computer you can send an electronic E transfer to eptcan.office@gmail.com and the password you will use is “ church”.
These are unprecedented days..... there is a lot of uncertainty and change but we know that God is faithful and never forsake’s us! We believe in the power of prayer and the peace of God‘s presence. May we continue to lift each other up in prayer and encourage one another to keep pressing on! May we make the most of every opportunity God is giving us!
